About Community Connectors CIC
Community Connectors CIC is a Community Interest Company (SC835590) was founded in January 2025 to boost wellbeing and reduce isolation across Forres and surrounding areas. We reinvest 100% of profits into our community – and thanks to an asset lock, all funds & resources stay where they belong: serving people – now and in the future.
Community Connectors CIC runs weekly group sessions, currently downstairs at the Tolbooth in Forres, including Moments That Matter (Tuesdays 2-4pm) for those with dementia, memory issues or neurological conditions, Brewing Connections tea and chat drop-in (Thursdays 11-12.30), and Affirming Wellbeing (Thursdays, 1-2.30pm) for emotional and mental health.
We also run Community Socials, and two multi-week programmes: 1) My Life My Legacy, an 8-week programme helping people with end-of-life planning, as well as health and social care considerations for the future; 2) Personal Resilience Planning, a 6-week programme helping participants to manage their health, wellbeing and social welfare better.
One-to-one support includes: End-of-Life Coordination, Health & Social Care Support, Health & Social Care Advocacy, a Social Handyperson Service, and a Listening Ear.
We are in partnership with local organisations to promote emotional and mental health and wellbeing.
